Limits

This page describes the rate limits, payload sizes, and quotas that apply to API requests.

Rate limits

Requests are limited per API key using a fixed one-minute window. Every response includes headers that describe your current standing.

Rate limit headers

Header	Meaning
`X-RateLimit-Limit`	The number of requests allowed in the current window.
`X-RateLimit-Remaining`	The number of requests left in the current window.
`X-RateLimit-Reset`	Unix timestamp (seconds) when the window resets.
`Retry-After`	Seconds to wait before retrying. Only sent with a `429` response.

When you exceed your limit, the API responds with 429 Too Many Requests. Wait for the number of seconds in Retry-After before sending another request.

Request size

Limit	Value
Maximum JSON body	1 MB
Maximum file upload	25 MB per file
Maximum URL length	8 KB
Maximum header size	16 KB

Requests above these sizes are rejected with 413 Payload Too Large or 414 URI Too Long.

Pagination

List endpoints return at most 100 items per page. The default page size is 20. Use the limit query parameter to request a different size, up to the maximum.

Quotas and retention

Requesting an increase

If your integration is hitting limits during normal operation, first check whether you can batch requests or cache responses. If you still need more capacity, reach out through your account dashboard.
